Darryl McDaniels, better known as DMC of the legendary RUN DMC is ready to crown a new king of Hip Hop (well, reality TV Hip Hop at least). The self styled "King of Rock" will be hosting and producing a new televised competition to find the next great Hip Hop talent.

Tuesday's inauguration was embraced by the Hip Hop culture in a way that has never been seen in this country. The VIP crowd at Barrack Obama's January 20th inauguration featured not only political power players and Hollywood superstars, but also a surprising dose of Hip Hop royalty. Sean "Diddy" Combs, Jay-Z (with wife Beyonce' who performed for the President twice this week), Russell Simmons, Mary J Blige and 50 Cent were all in attendance.

After what seems like an eternity, Eminem is finally opening up about his long anticipated album, "Relapse." The album will be released as part of an Aftermath Records blitz that will also include 50 Cent's long rumored "Before I Self Destruct" and Dr. Dre's supposed swan song, "The Detox." All three projects are planned to be relased within weeks of each other.

More specifically, a film production company called Cheetah Vision which he has been spending this week promoting at the famous Sundance Film Festial.

The filmmakers behind “Notorious” had a very unique and unenviable task before them: make a good film that will also appease the demands of fans of one of the biggest cultural icons in recent memory. The life and music of Christopher “Biggie” Wallace is almost like folklore in the Hip Hop community. Fans would be ready to tear the cast limb from limb if the film stinks, in turn, non-Hip Hop fans will walk into the theater ready to hate it. Surprisingly, both will walk out shocked by the fact that “Notorious” is that its actually a damn good movie.
